Hamburg Veterans Ruud Van Nistelrooy And Ze Roberto Ready For Comeback

After a disappointing defeat in Koeln last weekend, Hamburg will be able to welcome back two key players against Hoffenheim in the shape of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ze Roberto.

The Dutch striker had a slight knee problem while the Brazilian was suffering from a virus.

"I am fine and I am able to play again," van Nistelrooy told the Hamburger Morgenpost.

Ze Roberto will also come back but will probably have to play left-back due to Marcell Jansen's fragile fitness.

"He is feeling good after having the flu. Ze will have to play left-back if Marcell Jansen cannot make it. Jansen's fitness has been up and down all season and he has never been 100 per cent," coach Armin Veh told the paper.

There were also rumours that Frank Rost may make a return between the sticks in place of Jaroslav Drobny, which were not entirely dismissed by Veh.

"Normally speaking I would be ruling out a return. But you never know with Frank - he is an animal."
