Hamburger SV lock horns with in form Stuttgart this Saturday in what should be an exciting encounter. HSV striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is looking forward to the match and has stated that he expects a tight game.

"Stuttgart have put together a good run and in my opinion they have left any relegation worries they may have had behind them. Maybe they can even put in a challenge for one of the European qualifying places," said van Nistelrooy on the official Stuttgart website.

"We can't afford to pay any attention to that though, we really need the points ourselves if we are to stay among the top sides. I'm expecting a tight game, with three points for us at the end."

The former Real Madrid attacker also took the time to discuss the reasons behind his transfer to Hamburger SV.

"HSV are a big European club with an extraordinary tradition and a fantastic stadium. On top of that, Hamburg is a wonderful city. Those are all things which Nigel de Jong, Rafael van der Vaart, Joris Mathijsen and Romeo Castelen have said to me personally.

"This certainly had an influence on me too. Most important though were my discussions with Bernd Hoffmann and head coach Bruno Labbadia, they really convinced me."
